Undying Jile

"Look Out! Look Out! Theres Jile about!"

Heh heh heh. These delightful little bits of Topiary are known as Jile, the creation of Earth Witch, Horticulturalist and prize Gardener Bethany Covenent, featured in the great and powerful Clive Barkers Undying.
The Jile are obviously Plant based, so they are not to keen on fire, although to be honest it just takes one or two lucky shots to bring them down anyway, and they are completly stationary. However, that doesnt mean they dont have some strengths, as their appearence will obviously reveal. Jile can spit very dangerous Venom when a victim is sighted by it's one ever moving eye-stalk. Also, if you attempt to move behind it, since the poor plant is stationary you can blast it to hell from a distance without any problem. However, casually walking up towards the plant, via the rear or not, and your going to be sorry. One high pitched shrill call later, and the ground erupts with several quick and vicious viper like Venus Flytrap/tentacles, which will viciously lunge and snap at you until you get the hell out of range or just kill the damn creature. Also, there are it's teeth, which you really dont want to be close to, especially with it being at crotch height etc.
A beautiful abomination to be sure, but not the most resilient.
